In January, here is one of the 7 Grevillea of the garden. This one doubtless has the most beautiful flowers which are rather scattered in this time.
In February the back of the house wakes up in colours with this Aloe arborescens which fills a good part of the loose stones.
In March bay leaf held, which are a part of the spontaneous flora, succeed in beauty the treelike heath in flower previous month.
In April one feels that things become clearer at the edge of the swimming pool: this Echium fastuosum made to dream to plunge into the reflection, but the temperature of the water has not yet achieved 18-20 °C.
In May on the other hand the temperature of the water becomes acceptable (it exceeds the 20 °C generally among the 1 and the 15) and this Grevillea juniperina reaches its highlight as Arum which are just in quoted, bloom having begun since December or January.
In June it's a little bit difficult to choose the plant to be presented you... Along the swimming pool we find Sesbania, Indigofera , Erythrina crista-galli , Caesalpinia gilliesii , so called paradise bird, and it is this last one represented on the photo.
In July Sesbania continue the bloom.
In August, Thunbergia, more close to the house, is always in flower as since May. (By hoping that it will continue in support(bear) the 0 or 1°C somtimes in winter nignts)
In September it is this pink bignone ( Podranea ) who attracts the butterflies as other numerous plants of the garden.
In October Lantanas continues to bloom. There are 4 sorts different from it in the garden.
In November in the region Brugmensias (' Daturas ') continues to bloom of more beautiful by spreading their flavor (to smell the evening especially). Since this photo they migrated at the bottom of the garden of the highly-rated of tree ferns.
In December it is the occasion to present you one of the Salvia which is a part of 14 sorts of the garden and blooms of which spread out over the year according to sorts. It allows also to track down the most resistant plants : in this garden plants have to manage ( almost ) only ! Especially in this high part of the garden (backside of the house) where the antennae of the neighbour a little spoil landscape.
